Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Cadence AI Inc. ("Cadance," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit cadance.ai (the "Site"), join our waitlist, or use the Cadance AI product when it becomes available.
Mobile information and SMS opt-in data. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of personal information disclosed in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third parties at any time.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. If you contact us directly, we collect the contents of your message and any information you choose to share. If you become a Cadance customer or otherwise use the Cadance AI product, we may also collect your name, business name, business address, business phone number, and (only with your explicit consent) a mobile phone number for SMS communications related to the service.
Automatically collected information
When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect:
- IP address (truncated for privacy where possible)
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time spent on the Site
- Referring URL
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-respecting and does not use cookies or fingerprinting techniques.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Add you to our waitlist and send you a confirmation email
- Notify you when Cadance AI opens for new studio onboarding
- Respond to your questions or feedback
- Provide and improve the Cadance AI product
- Send transactional communications (account, billing, service notices)
- Send SMS communications, only where you have provided express consent and only related to the messaging program you opted into
- Maintain and improve the Site
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers.
3. Mobile Information and SMS Messaging
No sharing for marketing. No mobile information collected by Cadance — including phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent — will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of personal information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third parties at any time.
Express consent required. Cadance only sends SMS messages to mobile numbers where the recipient has provided express, written consent through a clear opt-in flow that identifies the program/sender, message frequency, applicable charges, opt-out instructions, and a link to this Privacy Policy. Pre-checked boxes do not constitute consent.
Message types. Where consent has been given, Cadance may send messages such as appointment confirmations, lesson reminders, scheduling follow-ups, account notices, and program-related communications. Cadance does not send unsolicited promotional or marketing SMS to recipients who have not opted in.
Frequency. Message frequency varies by program and account activity.
Costs. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Cadance is not responsible for any such carrier charges.
Opt-out. You may opt out of any SMS messaging program at any time by replying STOP to any message. Once you opt out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages.
Help. Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact hello@cadance.ai.
Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Service Providers
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the Site, the Cadance AI product, and our communications:
- Twilio Inc. (including SendGrid) — voice, SMS, and email delivery infrastructure used to operate the Site and the Cadance AI product.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts and delivers the Site, provides DDoS protection and privacy-respecting analytics.
- Clover Network, LLC — payment processing where a studio uses the Cadance AI application on the Clover Point of Sale system.
These providers process your information only to perform services on our behalf, under contractual obligations to safeguard your data. They are not authorized to use your information for their own marketing purposes.
5. Payments and the Clover Platform
Where a studio uses Cadance AI together with the Clover Point of Sale system, our handling of merchant and customer data through that application is described in our dedicated Clover App Privacy Policy. We do not collect, store, or have access to full payment card numbers, card verification values, magnetic stripe data, or PINs. Cardholder data is handled by Clover and its payment processors.
6. The Cadance AI Product
Studio operators ("Customers") use Cadance AI to manage their own student inquiries and customer communications. Customers are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from their own students and inquiries before any communications are sent through Cadance AI, including SMS where applicable. A separate Customer Agreement and Data Processing Addendum governs that use.
7. Data Retention
We retain waitlist email addresses until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until the waitlist program ends. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records are retained for the duration of the messaging program plus a reasonable period thereafter for legal and audit purposes. Server logs are typically retained for no longer than 90 days.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive your information in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@cadance.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal basis for processing your information is your consent (you joined the waitlist or opted into a messaging program) and our legitimate interest in operating the Site and the Cadance AI product.
If you are in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Children
The Site and the Cadance AI product are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Transfers
Cadence AI Inc. is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
